Accessibility
We want the Pocket Femboy website to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. This page covers the pocketfemboy.com website: what it's built to do, how we check it, and how to reach us if something doesn't work for you.
Our standard
The website is built and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. No automated tool catches everything, so if you run into a barrier, please tell us. We treat it as a bug to fix, not a feature request.
What you can expect
- Everything works with a keyboard, including the app-store dialog. Focus is always visible, and a "Skip to content" link is the first thing you reach on every page.
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios.
- Form fields, buttons, and page regions have labels that screen readers announce. Decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology.
- Links inside paragraphs are underlined, so they don't rely on color alone.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and transitions are turned off.
- Pages reflow on small screens and at high zoom without sideways scrolling.
- We don't use an accessibility overlay or widget. Fixes go into the site's own code.
How we test
Every page is scanned with axe-core against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, at desktop, phone and 320px-wide screens, including with the app-store dialog open and with the account deletion form showing its error message. The same check confirms that nothing on the page spills off the side at any of those widths, that the skip link works, and that the dialog opens from the keyboard, closes with Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it. The check runs in Chrome, and we re-run it whenever the site changes.
Technical notes
The site is plain HTML and CSS with a little JavaScript. Every page can be read without JavaScript. The waitlist form needs it to submit. The account deletion form needs it too, and without JavaScript that page offers a plain email link instead.
