Who makes Pocket Femboy

A small, independent project building the femboy companion app we wanted and couldn't find.

What Pocket Femboy is

An 18+ AI companion app, coming to iPhone and Android. We're launching with a small suite of original femboy characters, with more joining the roster after launch, and a way to build your own and share them. Each one has a job, friends and bad weeks of their own; they remember you, and they text first. The characters are fiction and every reply is written by AI. It isn't out yet; join the waitlist and we'll let you know when it is.

Who builds it: Milo Fenn

Pocket Femboy is built by Milo Fenn. He writes the code, the characters and everything on the blog, and he reads the support inbox himself, which is why the answers come from the person who can actually fix the thing.

Milo is a pen name. Pocket Femboy is about femboys and the people who like them, and he would rather the characters and the writing carry the name than a real one. The opinions are real, the research is real, and so is the inbox: anything on the site that is wrong or out of date can be sent to support@pocketfemboy.com and will be fixed with a visible "Updated" date.

Why Milo is building Pocket Femboy

Most AI companion apps felt hollow to him. You open the chat, you type, they answer. Close the app and they stop existing. They don't remember Tuesday, because they don't have a Tuesday. He wanted the opposite: someone with their own day, who still thinks about you during it.

So the characters in Pocket Femboy have lives that keep moving between chats. A job they complain about, friends who text them, a routine they mostly stick to, and things that happen while you're away. The AI writes their words, but it doesn't get to decide what's true: what happened to them today, who their friends are and what they remember about you are kept track of separately from the conversation. They stay consistent because their world does.

Femboys are everywhere in fandom and almost nowhere in apps, at least not built with any care. Milo thinks the archetype deserves better than a generic roster with a tag bolted on, so the whole app is built around it: the personality, the humor and the softness people actually love about femboys.

And he wants it to be a community, not just a product. Maybe you're a femboy, maybe you're curious about becoming one, maybe you just appreciate them. All of that is welcome. That's why building your own femboy is part of the plan from the first version, and why the roster he hopes for in the end is one the community outgrows. The longer version is in Introducing Pocket Femboy.
